The painting New Year's Tractors was accepted into the 2008 Oil Painters of America 17th Annual Juried Exhibition.

The painting Ron & Allison was accepted into the 2007 PaintAmerica Top100. Great Kiva was accepted into the Second Mini50. The Top100 will be touring galleries across the United States from February 1-October 1, 2008.

I have been intrigued with color in nature for as long I can remember. As a child in the San Diego County town of Jamul, I would marvel at the beautiful bluish mountains on the border of Mexico. Today, as a Sonoma County artist, I still maintain the thrill of discovering color and light in my ever-changing surroundings. Depending on what I want to explore at the time, my thick paint strokes may be loose or tight. My impressionist oil paintings show my passion as I paint on location (en Plein Air).
